History

our story

On April 4, 2006, Pagavé Salon was established.

The temporary salon opened in the circa 1840’s home of Paul Van Liew & Joseph Jaworski while the new salon was designed and executed.

The first floor of the home turned into a fully functioning salon, complete with 4 hair stations, reclining shampoo bowls, a color bar and full product line displayed in the homes built-in bookshelves. The Pagavé team quickly grew to six including an assistant and a scheduling coordinator.

Joseph, the owner and kitchen/bath designer of Wilmington Builders, went on to design and build their new salon located at the Independence Mall in Wilmington, Delaware.

With such positive feedback on the 1840 homes décor, and especially the kitchen, the boys decided to decorate and choose accents similar in style for the new space.

Pagavé has an old world feel complete with walnut hardwood flooring, maple cabinetry, tumbled marble and granite. The result, an absolutely beautiful, comfortable environment, welcoming everyone in grand style.

Recent updates to furniture, lighting and color keep things new and fresh. The award-winning boutique at Pagavé is a perfect place to find one-of-a-kind jewelry and accessories.

The spa at Pagavé opened its doors on December 11, 2007 and as expected, it is just as spectacular as the salon. The spa offers full service from face to toes.

We dedicate the legacy and success of this wonderful environment to the memory of our beloved Joseph who passed away in 2018. We will miss and love him forever.
